Rocky Mountain Private Wealth Management is, at heart, a reflection of the life and investment experiences of co-founder Larry H. Carter.
Larry began his career as a civil engineer. He established himself as an entrepreneur from an early age, co-founding the Houston-based civil engineering firm Jones & Carter, Inc. in 1976.
Because Larry was a stock market enthusiast, it was inevitable that he would oversee the assets of the entire company at Jones & Carter. Well-prepared by years of research and the consistent pursuit of the next great investment idea, Larry eagerly embraced this role. Under his supervision, the firm's profit sharing plan, corporate assets, and partner assets produced successful returns.
Larry's continued investment success resulted in many potential clients knocking on his door. Family, friends, and colleagues repeatedly approached him to manage their investments in a private capacity.
In 2003, Larry co-founded Rocky Mountain Private Wealth Management, L.L.C. with son-in-law Gabriel Gallegos, a successful financial advisor in his own right. The two men were well-matched. They believed, their firm should not only successfully manage assets, but also provide individuals with the tools and training to understand the fundamentals of investing.
Today, Gabriel Gallegos remains committed to the investment philosophy so successfully implemented by his mentor, Larry H. Carter. In 2008 when Gabriel made the decision to expand Rocky Mountain Private Wealth Management, he insisted on teaming up with individuals that had the same ideology as Larry H. Carter. The decision was simple; Gabriel was honored to affiliate himself with financial advisors Pat Brown and Steve Brown of Frontier Wealth Management in Kerrville, Texas.
